This story was written very well, and absolutely broke my heart. 💔

Definitely only read this if you’re ok with receiving sad feels for the sake of the story.

As normal, one-shots don’t get a very long review, as to not give away too much of the story. While I don’t normally read sad fics (I want to be happy dang it!😭 ) My “buddy, ol’ pal, ol’ friend, only gave me the prompt of “This was SO GOOD.” So naturally, I dived right in. 😑Yup…I still haven’t learned. 😂 I mean… it was good…but just sad too. Anyway, onto the review…..

This story asks the big question: What if Aang didn’t win? And what if the Gaang were captured afterwards?

Follow Zuko and Katara as they journey away from the Fire Nation, with little to no information of what is happening around them. Their only information is that Aang lost, and Ozai’s forces are coming for them.

You are taken on a journey of heartache of the most serious kind. What are two teenagers to do, alone in the world, with the Ultimate Enemy ruling over all the land?
