Possible trigger warning: Aang is a bit OOC in this story. The author explains why they did this in one of their tumblr posts, and I believe they gave a link to that post in the notes section at some point, if I'm not mistaken.

In my own opinion, Aang simply acts more his age and less like a wise old man/monk. There was at least one point though where I was all: "Whoa, Aang wouldn't say that." but it only happened once or twice. Aside from that, I *really liked* this story! ^_^

🔸This is another canon divergent story of "what if Zuko made a different decision under the catacombs in Ba Sing Se?"

I always enjoy canon divergent stories! No matter where they start to go different. ^_^ I love reading what the author thinks would have happened differently. Not just with the people, but with the plot of the story entirely!

Everything flowed really well, and I feel the author did a great job with how others (Southern Water Tribe warriors included) would react to having Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation a part of team Avatar early on. Including Zuko's feelings on the matter as well.

I love getting to read all of the different point of views on how everyone is handling the sudden addition to the team.

For me, the ending was definitely different from other stories that I have read, and I wasn't 100% pleased with it, but it's still a Zutara story, so....redemption. ^_^

Overall I'm glad I got to read this story at least once, and would consider reading it again. :)
