Review: This story is set 4 years after the end of the show. Katara is 18, Zuko is 20.

This story opens up with Fire Lord Zuko and Katara corresponding with one another through letters. Which I find so endearing that they keep up with one another to let each other know what’s going on. (Because it’s not always “business” related.) And to me, that is just SO MUCH MORE BELIEVABLE than what the “official” comics have given us. But let’s not talk about that train wreck. XD Back to this amazing story!....

As time goes on both Zuko and Katara realize that they are actually best friends. They each understand the other and the stresses they are going through. And they are always there for the other to lend a supporting ear. (Through the letters.)

They both ultimately end up unhappy in their current relationship and break things off, to where Katara then goes back home to try and find herself again. At this point, they age yet again, and they are now 19 and 21 years old.

Katara has not physically seen Zuko in I don’t even remember how long! When the Gaang is all invited to a party in the Fire Nation. Of course, everyone is super stoked to go!

You guys…..I can FEEL the feels in this story as I read it! ❤❤❤❤

Their emotions are palpable, and I am LIVING FOR IT!!! 😍😍😍😍

Each chapter just gets better and better!

There are only two things that I would have changed to this story. I can’t tell you one, cause it would be a spoiler, but the other is that I really wish we were told what they are all wearing more often. (But if you read my reviews, you know I’m all about that. XD) I LIVE for knowing what everyone is wearing and how they look at ALL times. XD So hey, not the authors “fault” or anything, that’s just one of my personal preferences. ^_~ We are told *sometimes* what they’re wearing. But only sometimes.

I will say, be ready for time leaps! ^_^ The author fast forwards us to the “juicy” parts of the story, but she does a REALLY GOOD JOB at it, so no worries there. ^_~ It helps move the story along.

IROH!!!! Iroh is FUNNY in this! And I LOVE IT!!! 🍵😂

The description of emotions that the characters go through is AMAZING!!! As well as the help and understanding the other characters offer. Its just….just….***chef’s kiss*** 😘👌🏽

I also LOVE the humor we get! Be ready to literally laugh out loud at some of these moments! It’s so great!!! XD

Even the fight scenes are beautiful! I could “watch” everything happening as I read it! Bravo!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Overall, this story REALLY draws you in. You *feel the feels!* 🥰🥰🥰

You smile when they're happy, your heart aches when they're sad. Just overall beautifully written! ❤
