Review: This story is set in an alternate reality where Iroh takes the Fire Lord crown from Ozai before he can scar Zuko. Lu Ten survives the war, but he’s in rough shape. Lu Ten's near death causes Fire Lord Iroh to want to end the war and start trying to right all the wrongs the Fire Nation has done to the world. With his son as his heir to the throne, Iroh offers up both his niece and nephew to be betrothed to other parts of the world, in an effort to unite them and bring peace.

Katara and Zuko never get to personally meet while they’re young and betrothed, but correspond through letters as the years pass. All the while awaiting the day they will come together to be married.

So in this tale, it is Zuko who goes to the Southern Water Tribe. And can I just tell you, that this story is SO GOOD!!! I was both amazed and impressed with how the author was able to fast forward events, to turn this into a one-shot, but man-o-man, this could have EASILY been an entire chaptered story!

And I would have LOVED IT just as much, if not more! And I would have totally devoured it! XD

A completely different take, but written SO WELL, I REALLY WISH it was a chapter story! Check it out! Happy Zutara fluffs await you. ^_^ 💕💕💕
